Two Sheriffs

Wednesday, Sept 27th: Duane Morrison entered Platte Canyon High School near Bailey, Colorado around noon and took six female high school students hostage. Located near Conifer on US 285, the Parks were interested in the property largely because it will enable them to build a road, thereby skirting a nearby subdivision, and link up the two major sections of Staunton State Park, a proposed 3,500 acre state park less than an hour from Denver. I was lucky enough to live in the log cabin for three years recently, and I swear I shared that space with an unearthly creature known as Harvey, the giant invisible rabbit and stalwart bar hopper.
